Our Facility

COVID-19 Policies as of March 1, 2022:

As of March 1, SSM will not require any proof of vaccination to enter our facility. As of March 15, 2022, use of masks will be voluntary and SSM encourages continued use of masks for anyone with personal preference and/or immunity compromised conditions.

SSM has instituted a corporate policy that all staff, instructors, and consultants are fully vaccinated.  Any services to the public where we cannot allow for physical distancing will require proof of full vaccination, by the client, at the start of the service.  Examples are hearing testing, respirator fit testing, and in-car driver evaluations. Effective, Dec. 21, 2021 SSM will be temporarily suspending drop-in days only for respirator fit testing and hearing testing.

During Covid–19, SSM has put the following protocols in place to ensure safety:

  • Reduction in class sizes to ensure physical distancing in each class
  • Modifications including acrylic partitions where necessary
  • Students are spaced out 6 feet in each classroom
  • Instructor is greater than 6 feet from nearest student
  • Sanitizing station for all visitors upon entry and also located throughout the facility
  • The facility is sanitized daily
  • Please use Shared Health MB Screening Tool https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/
  • Consistent with provincial health guidelines, anyone exhibiting symptoms is not permitted into the facility
  • Motorcycles and equipment will be sanitized after each use.  Riders will be asked to wipe down their own bikes prior to use.
  • Classrooms, public spaces, warehouse, and offices will be voluntary masking areas.
  • SSM will continue to offer Live Remote Training as an option
