How to Become a Volunteer

If you have a few hours to spare and want to do your part to keep the streets a little safer this season, just download an application form form your region, fill it out and return it to your local Operation Red Nose Headquarters.

Choose a Role on Our Team

We need people to make up our three-person Driving Teams. You can apply to be:

A Driver:
The Driver is responsible for actually driving the client's vehicle to its destination along with the client and passengers themselves. To be a Driver, you must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

A Navigator:
The Navigator accompanies the Driver, client and passengers in the client's vehicle, communicating with the Operation Red Nose Dispatch and providing driving directions. The Navigator also prepares receipts for donations. To be a Navigator, you must be at least 18 years old.

An Escort Driver:
Escort Drivers use their own vehicle to transport the Driver and Navigator from location to location and follows while the client is getting a ride home. To be an Escort Driver, you must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license and own a vehicle that is currently insured.
