Industrial Rescue Training

    This 40 hour intensive classroom/practical course is intended for individuals that will be employed as rescue persons for industrial settings such as heights and confined spaces including an immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) environment. Personnel are trained in recognizing hazards and the entry requirements of confined spaces, as well as some of the required rescue competencies as outlined in NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670. This is an excellent means of documenting individual skills proficiency in accordance with OSHA 1910.146. Structural Rope/Confined Space Rescue for Industrial Rescue. This includes but is not limited to, operating as a member of a rope rescue team; utilizing knots, hitches and anchor systems; belay operations; ascending and descending; raising and lowering systems; patient packaging, patient extraction and, among other skills and techniques. The course concludes with practical scenarios of varying difficulty in multiple types of rescue, confined space, horizontal and vertical scenarios.
